AFIT IJMB Admission Form 2025/2026 Now Available

The Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) in Kaduna has started receiving applications for its IJMB programme for the 2025/2026 session. This one-year course prepares students for direct entry into university without JAMB.

It’s a full academic session of focused teaching, ending with the IJMB exam. If passed with enough points, candidates can move into 200-level of their chosen degree.

Who Can Apply?

To qualify, applicants must:

  • Have at least five credits in O’level subjects (WAEC, NECO, or GCE)
  • These must include English, Mathematics, and three other subjects related to the chosen field
  • Score a minimum of 10 points in the final IJMB exam to be considered for university placement

How the Programme Works

Once admitted and registered, each student will be placed in one of six academic groups:

  • IJMB 1 to IJMB 6

Placement depends on the student’s career choice and O’level subjects.

Classes run for one academic year. It’s structured and intense, but it gives a real shot at gaining university admission without writing JAMB again.

How to Apply

Follow these steps:

  1. Visit the AFIT IJMB Application Portal
  2. Select the 2025/2026 academic session
  3. Fill out the form online
  4. Pay a non-refundable ₦10,000 fee using an Interswitch-enabled ATM card

Print out the completed form. Bring it along with your SSCE/GCE result slips during registration.

Application Timeline

  • Opens: 27 June 2025
  • Closes: 26 July 2025

Don’t wait until the last day. Once the portal shuts, that’s it.

A Few Things to Note

  • NAF personnel are not allowed to apply for this programme
  • Admission is strictly based on merit
  • AFIT does not collect extra fees for admission processing
  • Any request for payment outside the official process is likely a scam

Stick to the instructions on the school portal. The school won’t take responsibility for any side deals or shortcuts.
