The Aminu Sale College of Education, Azare, extends its notification to all prospective applicants seeking admission into its undergraduate programs affiliated with the University of Maiduguri, for the 2023/2024 academic session. The Second Round Admission Screening Exercises are scheduled to commence from Monday, February 12th, 2024, at the Academic Unit (Admission Registration Office).
Undergraduate Requirements:
For UTME 100 Level Candidates:
- A Minimum of 140 JAMB Cut-off marks
- Five (5) 'O' Level relevant Credits, including English and Mathematics.
For Direct Entry Candidates (200 Level):
- A Minimum aggregate of Eight (8) Points in NCE/IMB and a Merit in Diploma
- Five (5) 'O' Level Credits, including English and Mathematics.
General Notes:
Candidates are required to present the following documents during the screening exercises for both NCE and Undergraduate programs:
- Original 'O' Level Statement of Result duly signed by the principal
- 'O' Level Scratch Card for WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or NBAIS
- JAMB Result Slips/DE Registration Slips for 2023
- Original/Photocopies of Credentials
- Two Thousand Naira (N2,000) Payment receipt for admission screening.

Who can apply
For Direct Entry:
- At least 8 points in NCE/IJMB.
- A Merit in Diploma.
For 100 Level:
- Minimum UTME score of 150.
- Five ‘O’ Level credits including English, Mathematics, and three relevant subjects.
All candidates must meet the subject requirements for their chosen course.
How to apply
- Pay the non-refundable screening fee of N2,000.
- Bring both original and photocopies of credentials.
- For 100 Level: JAMB result slip.
- For Direct Entry: JAMB registration slip.
- Upload your ‘O’ Level results on the JAMB portal.
- If switching schools or courses, use the JAMB change portal and set the College as your first choice.
- Choose between physical or online screening via the ASCOEA Applicant Portal.
The online portal opens Monday, 18 August 2025.
