For candidates interested in high-demand courses such as Medicine &  Surgery, Law, Doctor of Pharmacy, Nursing Science, Medical Laboratory Science, Mass Communication, Engineering Programmes, Computer Science, and Medical Biochemistry, the university has set specific cut-off marks. These are as follows:

  • Medicine & Surgery — 260
  • Law — 250
  • Doctor of Pharmacy — 240
  • Nursing Science — 230
  • Medical Laboratory Science — 220
  • Mass Communication — 200
  • Engineering Programmes — 180
  • Computer Science — 180
  • Medical Biochemistry — 180

Candidates scoring below these cut-off marks in these specific courses have the option to apply for Post UTME screening for other courses. It is crucial to update this change on the JAMB CAPS portal to be considered for admission.

Alternative Admission Routes

In addition to the traditional UTME route, EKSU also accepts JUPEB scores with a minimum of 7 points for admission. However, please note that the university does not accept IJMB scores.
