AE-FUNAI has opened its pre-degree application for the 2025/2026 academic session. The one-year programme prepares candidates for admission into various degree courses, except Medicine. Read on for how to apply and key details.

AE-FUNAI Pre-Degree Admission Form 2025/2026 Now Out

Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike (AE-FUNAI) in Ebonyi State has started accepting applications for its 2025/2026 pre-degree programme. This is a non-residential, one-year course aimed at helping students secure admission into full-time degree programmes, excluding Medicine and Surgery.

Who Can Apply?

To be considered, applicants must:

  • Have at least five O’level credits including English and Mathematics
  • The subjects must align with their chosen degree course
  • Results can be from no more than two sittings
  • Awaiting result candidates can apply, but results must be ready before screening

Duration

The programme runs for two semesters, covering 10 calendar months.

How to Apply

The application is ₦15,000 and processed online only through the university’s e-Portal.

Steps:

  1. Visit AE-FUNAI Pre-degree Application Portal
  2. Generate your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR)
  3. Pay using your ATM card or at any Nigerian bank
  4. Return to the portal to continue the application
  5. Print out your completed form and keep it
  6. Send a copy of the form to your own email for backup

Important Reminders:

  • Upload a recent passport photo with a white background
  • Your full name should be written clearly on the back of the photo
  • Use an active email and phone number you’ll keep after applying
  • No name changes allowed after submission
  • Always check your email and the FUNAI website for updates

Deadline

The application closes on Friday, 31 October 2025 at 11:59pm. No extensions are guaranteed.

Final Note

AE-FUNAI has not appointed any agents to sell or handle forms. Avoid middlemen. If it’s not done through the official website, it doesn’t count.
