Who Can Apply?
Before you jump in, check that you meet these basic rules:
- You need at least 5 credit passes in SSCE, GCE or NECO (in no more than two sittings).
- For Medicine and Dentistry, only one sitting is accepted.
- If you are under 15, HUST says to wait till next year.
- Admission is strictly through UTME.
- If HUST wasn’t your first choice, you can still apply, but you must change your first-choice school to HUST through a JAMB CBT centre.
Foreign applicants are welcome too, as long as they meet these same requirements.
How to Apply for HUST Post-UTME
The process is online and doesn’t take much time if you follow the steps right.
- Visit the HUST admissions portal.
- Sign up with your email and create a password.
- Check your inbox (or spam folder) for a confirmation email.
- Log in using the email and password you just set up.
- Pay for the form online. Once done, you’ll get a registration number via email.
- Fill in the form. It’s okay to save and come back if needed.
- Before submitting, check for errors. Then print a copy after submitting.
