LUTH Biomedical Engineering Admission Form 2025/2026 | ND/HND

The Federal School of Biomedical Engineering (FSBE), located at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), has opened applications for its National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes in Biomedical Engineering for the 2025/2026 academic session.

These courses train skilled technicians to support medical equipment and healthcare systems. Both ND and HND programmes are approved by relevant education authorities.

Meet the ND Biomedical Engineering entry requirements

To apply for the National Diploma (ND), you must meet these criteria:

• Five O’level credits in no more than two sittings, including:
  • English Language
  • Mathematics
  • Chemistry
  • Physics
  • Biology
• JAMB score of 150 or above, with subjects in:
  • English
  • Mathematics
  • Chemistry
  • Physics
  • Biology

Extra credit or passes in any of the following technical subjects will give an edge:

• Basic Electronics
• Basic Electricity
• Woodwork
• Metalwork
• Technical Drawing
• Auto-mechanics

All candidates must sit for a Post UTME screening test.

Know the HND Biomedical Engineering requirements

To apply for the Higher National Diploma (HND), you must:

• Meet all ND entry conditions
• Hold a National Diploma in Biomedical Engineering from an NBTE-accredited school
• Have at least one year of work experience or industrial training (I.T.)

This work experience helps confirm that you are ready for the advanced parts of the course.

1. Visit the LUTH portal: luth.gov.ng/schools
2. Choose Biomedical Engineering from the list of schools
3. Fill in the Account Creation Form using a valid email
4. Log in and click on MAKE PAYMENT
5. Pay the ₦10,000 application fee via Remita
6. Fill out the full application form after payment
7. Print the bio-data form sent to your email for use during the entrance exam
