LUTH Medical and Psychiatry Social Work Form 2025/2026

The School of Medical and Psychiatric Social Work at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) is now taking applications for its one-year professional certificate programme for the 2025/2026 academic session.

Since 1990, this programme has trained social workers to support patients and families through health and mental health challenges. The course blends theory with real-world skills.

To be considered for the programme, you must have one of the following:

• A graduate degree in Social Work, Sociology, or Psychology from a recognised school
• A degree in another field, plus at least three years of experience in social work practice

The programme accepts candidates who can show commitment to social care and a clear understanding of human needs.

1. Visit the LUTH portal: luth.gov.ng/schools
2. Choose Medical and Psychiatric Social Work
3. Fill in the Account Creation Form with a working email address
4. Check your inbox for login details
5. Pay the ₦10,000 application fee through the portal via Remita
6. Log in at luth.gov.ng/profile and complete the application form
7. Print the bio-data form sent to your email – you will need this for the entrance exam

Apply before the deadline ends

The application will close 12 weeks from the date it was posted. If you qualify, apply early to avoid any delay.
