UCH Ibadan is now accepting applications for the 2025/2026 Anaesthesia Technician training programme. If you're aged 18 to 30 and meet the science subject requirements, you can apply online before the entrance exam. Read on for full details, fees, and how to apply.

Apply for UCH Ibadan Anaesthesia Technician Programme 2025

Check if you are eligible for the programme

To apply for the UCH Ibadan School of Anaesthesia Technician training, you must meet the following:

  • Be 18 to 30 years old
  • Have five credit passes from WAEC, NECO, or GCE O-Levels
  • The credits must be from no more than two sittings of the same exam body
  • Required subjects are:
    • English Language
    • Mathematics
    • Biology
    • Chemistry
    • Physics

Understand the training details and cost

  • The course runs for three years, full-time
  • After completing the training, you will work under professional anaesthetists as a qualified Anaesthesia Technician
  • The training fee is ₦200,000 per year, which includes a developmental levy
  • The training is non-residential, but institutions may sponsor candidates

Follow the steps to apply online

To apply, visit the UCH Schools Portal and follow these steps:

  1. Click on the REMITA PAYMENT button
  2. Pay a non-refundable fee of ₦20,000 for the application form
  3. Sign up using your RRR, email, and password used for payment
  4. Log in to the portal
  5. Download the Applicants’ User Guide
  6. Complete your application online
  7. Print two copies of your application form and photocard
  8. Bring both documents to the exam venue on the test day
