YSU Post UTME/Direct Entry Screening Form 2025/2026

YSU has opened the Post UTME and Direct Entry screening for 2025/2026 candidates who selected the university as their first choice. If you meet the cut-off scores and requirements, you can apply between 7th August and 4th September. Keep reading to see the full list of courses, scores, and how to register.

Yobe State University (YSU) Post UTME/Direct Entry Form 2025

Yobe State University has rolled out its Post UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening details for 2025. If you picked YSU as your first choice, and you’ve been wondering when the whole process starts, well, this is it.

The school says the screening will run from Thursday, 7th August to Saturday, 4th September, 2025. If you’re eligible, this is your cue to act fast.

Who Is Eligible for YSU Screening?

For UTME Applicants

  • You must have chosen YSU as your first choice.
  • Your UTME score must be 150 or above. (Some courses need more, though. Hold on, we’ll get to that.)

For Direct Entry Candidates

  • You should have relevant A’ Level qualifications or higher in your course area.
  • You also need at least five credit passes in your O’ Level, including English and Maths.
  • Make sure both your O’ Level and A’ Level results are uploaded to the JAMB CAPS portal. That one is non-negotiable.

How to Apply for the YSU Post UTME Form

Alright, ready to apply? Here’s your to-do list:

  1. Get a Remita RRR number at any trusted cyber café or online.
  2. Pay ₦2,000 using the Remita platform. You can do this online or walk into any bank. Print the slip once payment is done.
  3. Head to the YSU Post UTME Portal and complete your form. Fill in your details correctly. No rush. Just breathe and get it done.

Don’t Miss These Points

  • You must choose YSU as your first choice. If you didn’t, no worries. You can still change your course or institution on the JAMB portal.
  • If your score doesn’t meet your chosen department’s cut-off, you’ll need to switch courses on JAMB’s system.
  • Upload all your results to JAMB CAPS before the deadline. If you don’t, it could mess up your chances.
  • Entering false info during registration? That one fit disqualify you sharp sharp.

This window isn’t forever. It opens now and closes by 4th September. So, if YSU is where you want to study, don’t dull. Set your reminders. Talk to your café plug. Get it done.
