Apply for University of Maiduguri Remedial Programmes for 2024/2025

University of Maiduguri begins sales of forms for remedial programmes for the 2024/2025 session.

Applications are open for Remedial Arts, Remedial Science, and Prelim French programmes.

Successful candidates will move into part one for the 2025/2026 session.

The university holds the right to reject any application without giving reasons.

The university will not respond to personal messages about admission matters.

Know the Admission Requirements

  • Candidates must show proof of sitting for ‘O’ Level examinations.
  • Candidates must obtain credits in no more than two sittings.
  • Credits must include English and Mathematics.
  • Candidates must also have credits in three other subjects linked to the chosen programme.
  • Candidates must register for the 2025/2026 UTME.
  • Candidates must score at least 160 points in UTME.

Collect the application form at the bank after payment.

Take the bank teller to the Bursary Department for an official receipt.

Collect the application form from the Directorate of Remedial Studies.

Submit Completed Application Forms

Return the filled form to the Directorate of Remedial Studies Office.

Submit by hand, registered post, or mail.

Attach the following documents to the form:

  • One certified recent passport-size photograph stapled to the form
  • Photocopies of certificates
  • Photocopy of receipt from form purchase
  • Local Government Indigene Certificate
