EBSU IJMB Admission Form 2026/2027

Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki, has announced the sale of its IJMB admission form for the 2026/2027 academic session. The form is open to suitably qualified members of the public who want admission into the Interim Joint Matriculation Board programme.

The EBSU IJMB programme leads to the award of an IJMB certificate. With that certificate, successful candidates can seek Direct Entry admission into Ebonyi State University and other universities within and outside Nigeria without JAMB/UTME.

What the EBSU IJMB Programme Offers

The IJMB route gives successful candidates a chance to move into 200 level in their chosen course, subject to the usual admission process. EBSU lists courses such as Medicine and Surgery, Nursing Science, Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory, Law, Political Science, Engineering, Computer Science and Architecture among the possible areas candidates may target.

For many candidates, this programme serves as an alternative route into Nigerian universities. It is direct, structured, and built around recognised subject combinations.

Candidates should check the subject areas below before processing the form. Each group points to the likely academic path a candidate may follow.

Sciences

Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Agricultural Science.

Management Sciences

Accounting, Economics, Business Studies and Mathematics.

Social Sciences and Humanities

Government, Literature, CRK and History.

Duration of the EBSU IJMB Programme

The academic programme runs for a minimum of one academic session.

That session covers two semesters.

Entry Requirements for EBSU IJMB Admission

A candidate must possess at least five O’level Credit passes before enrolment into the IJMB programme. The required credits must include English Language and Mathematics.

The accepted examination bodies are SSCE, NECO, GCE and NABTEB. Candidates may use results from one sitting or two sittings.

Interested candidates are to buy the application form at a non-refundable fee of N20,000 only.

Candidates should keep their evidence of payment safe, as it will be needed during form collection and processing.

How to Fill and Process the EBSU IJMB Form

After payment, candidates are to proceed to the IJMB Office at the Pre-Degree Complex CAS, EBSU. They should go with evidence of payment, collect the form, and complete the required processing.

An acceptance fee of N15,000 only will be paid after a candidate receives an offer of admission.
