Fountain University Secures Full NUC Accreditation for All Courses

Fountain University, Osogbo, has secured full accreditation for all its academic programmes from the National Universities Commission.

The approval marks a major step for the university, which now has over 39 fully accredited programmes, with several of them also carrying relevant professional recognitions.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olayinka Ramota Karim, announced the development through an official statement.

She said the university received full accreditation for 18 more programmes during the 2025/2026 academic session, raising the total number of fully accredited programmes to over 39.

That figure matters to students, parents and guardians checking programme status before admission decisions.

Professor Karim described the accreditation result as the outcome of planned work and steady effort across the university.

She expressed deep gratitude to Almighty Allah and praised the faculty, students, governing council and stakeholders for their roles in the process.

“This remarkable milestone is not accidental. It reflects our unwavering commitment to academic excellence, quality assurance, and global best practices in teaching, research, and community service,” she stated.
