The ScaleUp Business Accelerator Program is Bet9ja Foundation’s flagship entrepreneurship programme. It is designed to identify, support, and accelerate high-potential Nigerian SMEs and startups. What the Bet9ja Foundation ScaleUp Business Accelerator 2.0 offers
The programme supports early-stage businesses through non-dilutive grant funding, structured training, mentorship, and market access.
Selected businesses receive up to N3 million in grant funding. They also compete in the ScaleUp Pitch Challenge, where the winning business gets an additional N2 million grant. That funding detail stands Out at once; two grant layers, one main award and one pitch prize.

Eligibility for businesses and founders
The Bet9ja Foundation ScaleUp Business Accelerator is open to businesses and founders that meet the stated conditions.
Business requirements
Eligible businesses must:
- be registered in Nigeria through CAC or Business Name registration
- have operated for a minimum of 6 months
- be generating revenue
- show clear traction through revenue, customers, or pilot programmes
- show strong scalability potential beyond the current market
Founder requirements
Eligible founders must:
- be Nigerian citizens or legal residents
- be between 22 and 40 years old at the time of application
- be founders or co-founders actively involved in the business
- commit to full participation in the 10-week accelerator
