IAUE NUC Accreditation for 20 Programmes

Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Rumuolumeni, Port Harcourt, has secured full accreditation status for 20 academic programmes.

The approval came from the National Universities Commission through a letter addressed to the Vice-Chancellor of IAUE, Professor Okechuku Onuchuku. The letter was dated Tuesday, 7 April 2026, and signed by the Director of Accreditation, Engineer Abraham Chundusu, on behalf of the NUC Executive Secretary, Professor Abdullahi Yusuf Ribadu.

The National Universities Commission granted full accreditation to 20 programmes at Ignatius Ajuru University of Education.

Duration of the IAUE NUC Accreditation Status

The full accreditation status for the listed IAUE programmes is valid for five years.

After that period, the programmes will be due for another review as required by the accreditation cycle.
