British American Tobacco Nigeria has opened applications for the Management Trainee Global Graduate Programme 2026 in Ibadan, Oyo. The 18-month scheme is built for fresh graduates; it combines rotation, learning, international exposure and role-based work from Day One.

Programme details

British American Tobacco states that the Global Graduate programme is set up to develop future leaders.

The 18-month rotational programme is designed to build business and leadership skills through world-class learning, international exposure and a job role where graduates can contribute from the start.

The Global Graduate community also meets for a two-week Graduate Academy, with one week in London. During this period, graduates connect with other participants and senior colleagues from across the globe.

BAT presents the scheme as a fast-track route for fresh graduates who want to make an impact from Day One. The programme also aims to prepare the next group of leaders in the BAT Operations Team by giving participants a broad view of operational areas.

Key responsibilities

Participants will work across these areas:

Make

This area gives hands-on experience in the manufacturing process.

Plan

This area focuses on balancing supply with demand.

Logistics

This area covers supply chain flow and strategy.

Procurement

This area focuses on smart spending, quality partnerships and fresh ideas.

Service

This area covers consumer needs and support for change in global business services.

Product work

This area involves working with Marketing and Sales on new solutions.

Requirements

Applicants must meet these conditions:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• Completion of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, programme
• No more than three years of post-graduate professional experience
• Exposure to operations, manufacturing, supply chain or technical environments is an added advantage
• National and/or international mobility
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Membership in relevant bodies is an advantage
