Requirements for Professor

Candidates applying for Professor must hold a Ph.D. degree from a recognised university and must have at least twelve (12) years of teaching, research and administrative experience in a tertiary school.

They must also show the ability to give academic leadership and must specialise in core areas of the relevant departmental field of study. Registration with relevant professional bodies is mandatory.

Requirements for Reader

Candidates applying for Reader (EUASS 06) must meet the same academic and professional conditions listed for Professor, but with at least nine (9) years of teaching, research and administrative experience in a tertiary school.

Registration with relevant professional bodies is mandatory.

Requirements for Senior Lecturer

Candidates applying for Senior Lecturer (EUASS 05) must also meet the same academic and professional conditions listed for Professor, but with at least six (6) years of teaching, research and administrative experience in a tertiary school.

Registration with relevant professional bodies is mandatory.
