Katsina State has opened a large teacher recruitment exercise through two agencies. The exercise covers primary school and secondary school teaching positions across the state.

One part is handled by the Katsina State Universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB. The other is handled by the Katsina State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, MBASE. Each role has its own qualification and target school level; that split is Clear from the notice.

Katsina SUBEB job recruitment for primary school teachers

The Katsina State Universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB, is recruiting qualified primary school teachers.

This recruitment is strictly for primary school teaching positions only.

SUBEB requirement

Applicants must possess NCE in a relevant field.

Key responsibility

Successful applicants will teach assigned subjects at the primary school level.

Applicants must possess B.Ed in a relevant field or its equivalent.

The notice also states that M.Ed in a relevant field is an added advantage.

Key responsibility

Successful applicants will teach assigned subjects at the secondary school level.

What applicants should note

The two recruitments are separate.
