Stanbic IBTC Graduate Trainee Programme 2026

Stanbic IBTC Group says its Graduate Trainee Programme 2026 is meant to build capacity and create a steady pipeline in the group by developing young, trained professionals for future roles.

The programme is described as intensive; it gives resourceful young people a chance to build a fast-tracked career and support the group’s future success.

Who can apply

Applicants must meet these conditions:

  • A minimum of Second Class Upper, or its equivalent, in any course from an accredited university
  • A minimum of five credits in GCE, NECO, or its equivalent, including Mathematics and English
  • Applicant must not be more than 26 years old at engagement
  • Applicant must have concluded NYSC and have the discharge certificate in hand
  • Applicant’s date of birth, gender, and class of degree must be clearly stated

Work role and placement

Stanbic IBTC states that graduate trainees will work in varied roles, locations, and contexts, with increasing levels of complexity.

The Group also says applicants must be passionate about building a career in Stanbic IBTC.

Graduate trainees will be based in Lagos, though they may be deployed to any department and locations across the country. That detail is Plain enough; location can change.
