Kogi State Polytechnic Part-Time Admission Form 2026/2027

Kogi State Polytechnic has opened application for admission into its part-time programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.

• Kabba
• Okene
• Lokoja

Admission Requirements

The notice gives admission requirements for Accountancy.

Accountancy HND Requirement

For Higher National Diploma in Accountancy, which runs for 5 semesters, candidates must possess National Diploma in Accountancy and related programmes. They must also have a minimum of lower credit with CGPA of 2.50.

Applicants must have five O/L credits at not more than two sittings from NECO, WASSCE, SSCE, GCE, or NABTEB. These credits must include English Language, Mathematics, and any three of the following:

• Accounting
• Economics
• Geography
• Government
• Commerce
• Civic Education
• I.R.S
• C.R.S

Accountancy ND Requirement

For National Diploma in Accountancy, which runs for 6 semesters, candidates must have five O/L credits at not more than two sittings from NECO, WASSCE, SSCE, GCE, or NABTEB.

The credits must include English Language, Mathematics, and any three of the following:

• Accounting
• Economics
• Geography
• Government
• Commerce
• Civic Education
• I.R.S
• C.R.S

How to Apply for Kogi State Polytechnic Part-Time Form

The application form can be accessed through the Kogi State Polytechnic portal.

Qualified candidates are advised to generate two different RRR numbers through the school portal, one for the admission form and one for the screening fee, then proceed with payment.

The notice lists these charges:

• Admission form fee: N10,000.00
• Screening fee: N10,000.00

Transcript submission

Candidates must process their transcripts before admission. The transcript should be mailed directly to the Registrar, Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, especially for candidates from other institutions.

Hard copy submission

Hard copies of credentials must be submitted at the Polytechnic Admission Office on or before the closing date of the form.

Closing date

The closing date for submission of completed forms is six weeks from the date of the advertisement. The notice also states that there will be no extension of the date of sale of application forms.
