Cross River State BECE Timetable 2026

Cross River State Ministry of Education has released the 2026 Basic Education Certificate Examination timetable, also known as Junior WAEC.

The examination is for candidates in JSS 3 who are moving to SS1. With the dates now set, schools, parents, and candidates can see the full paper schedule at a glance; day by day, subject by subject.

The examination will run for five days, from 18 May 2026 to 22 May 2026.

Monday, 18 May 2026

• French, 3 hrs, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
• Religious Studies, 3 hrs, 12 noon to 3:00 pm

Tuesday, 19 May 2026

• English Studies, 3 hrs, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
• Prevocational Studies, 3 hrs, 12 noon to 3:00 pm

Wednesday, 20 May 2026

• Business Studies, 3 hrs, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
• National Values, 3 hrs, 12 noon to 3:00 pm

Thursday, 21 May 2026

• Mathematics, 3 hrs, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
• Cultural & Creative Arts, 3 hrs, 12 noon to 3:00 pm

Friday, 22 May 2026

• Basic Science & Technology, 3 hrs, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
• Nigerian Language, 3 hrs, 12 noon to 3:00 pm
