The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, has announced physical verification of credentials and travel documents for foreign-trained Nigerian graduates in the 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream II service year.
The notice applies to Prospective Corps Members, PCMs, whose credentials and travel documents are yet to be physically verified after online registration. The exercise will hold from Wednesday, 8 April to Friday, 10 April 2026.
Who should attend the NYSC physical verification
The exercise is for foreign-trained Nigerian graduates whose uploaded credentials and travel papers are still pending physical verification.
NYSC made the point plain; affected PCMs are to appear for the exercise at their chosen centres.

What PCMs must do before attending
NYSC said PCMs must report strictly on the date, time and venue shown on the verification slip. That instruction is firm; it is meant to keep the exercise orderly and to avoid overcrowding.
PCMs are also to present all original credentials and travel documents as uploaded, or expected to be uploaded, during online registration.
Extra documents for medical graduates
Medical graduates are to upload their licences, registration certificates and other relevant documents issued by their various bodies.
They must also take the original copies of those documents to the verification centres.
Evaluation letter rule from the Federal Ministry of Education
Original copies of Evaluation Letters issued by the Federal Ministry of Education are to be submitted at the NYSC Headquarters, Abuja.
PCMs are then to upload the acknowledged copies online.
What happens after physical verification
NYSC said only persons who are physically seen with their credentials, physically verified and cleared will be deployed, exempted or excluded from National Service.
That is the closing line of the notice, and it leaves little room for guesswork.
