AKUM Academic Calendar 2025/2026: Proposed Schedule for 100 Level UTME, 200 Level Direct Entry, and Returning Students (300 Level), Including Lecture Dates, Exams, Breaks, and Public Holidays

The Office of the Director, Academic Planning presented a proposed academic calendar for the 2025/2026 academic session at Abdulkadir Kure University, Minna (AKUM). The document covers two groups:

• 100 Level UTME and 200 Level (Direct Entry)
• Returning students (300 Level)

It sets out activities, dates, and durations; some durations are written plainly, while a few entries leave duration unstated.

First semester schedule

• Resumption and registration of new students (2025/2026, 100 Level): 12 Jan 2026 to 6 Feb 2026 (4 weeks).
• Resumption and registration of new students (2025/2026, 200 Level Direct Entry): 8th February, 2026 to 7 March 2026 (duration not stated).
• First semester lectures: 13 Apr 2026 to 25 Jul 2026 (14 weeks).
