FCE Obudu Approves Christmas and New Year Break 2025/2026

Federal College of Education, Obudu has approved a temporary closure of the college for the 2025 Christmas and 2026 New Year celebrations. The decision was taken by the management to allow staff and students time to travel and spend the festive period with their families.

The closure applies to all academic and administrative activities, except for staff assigned to essential duties.

The college will close on Friday, 19 December 2025, at 4:00 pm. Activities will resume on Monday, 5 January 2026. All staff and students are expected to return on the resumption date, as work and lectures will begin immediately.

Before leaving campus, staff and students are advised to switch off all electrical appliances and secure offices, classrooms, doors, and windows. Security staff are expected to maintain alertness across both campuses during the closure period.

Members of the college community, regardless of faith, are encouraged to use the break period to pray for peace and good health in the coming year. On behalf of the 8th Governing Council and the management team, the Registrar extended goodwill messages to staff, students, and their families for the 2025 Christmas celebration and the 2026 New Year.
