The matriculation ceremony for fresh students for the 2025/2026 academic session has been fixed for Tuesday, 6 January 2026. It will hold at the University Auditorium by 10:00 a.m. prompt.
Fresh students are expected to follow these rules during the event:
Fresh students are to be in their complete academic robes
Fresh students without academic gowns will not be allowed into the hall
Fresh students are to assemble at the Eti-Osa Lecture Theatre by 9:00 a.m. and be led by their College Officers in a procession to the hall
No student, even with academic robes, will be allowed into the hall after the Vice-Chancellor’s procession has entered
All phones must be on silent all through the programme, it helps reduce noise
All fresh students are to sign and submit the Matriculation Oath straight after the ceremony
The University management, under the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Olayinka Ramota Karim, wishes all fresh students a happy stay on campus.
