Gombe State University O-Level verification notice 2025/2026

Gombe State University, Gombe, has issued a fresh directive for students admitted for the 2025/2026 academic session. All newly admitted candidates are to complete verification of their O-Level results within the approved period.

A notice from the Office of the Registrar states that only candidates who already received admission and downloaded their official GSU admission letters can take part. Anyone yet to do that step will not be recognised for the exercise, which may cause delay later.

Verification process

Eligible candidates are required to visit the GSU O-Level result verification portal at verifyolevel.gsu.edu.ng

On the portal, candidates are expected to upload their O-Level results. After a successful upload, a receipt is generated. This receipt should be saved and kept safe. It may be requested again, so losing it could bring stress.

The deadline for the verification is Wednesday, 24 December 2025. The school made it clear that late submission will not be accepted. Missing the date can affect admission status, and students don’t want that kind of issue.

The directive was signed by Musa Sarki, Deputy Registrar (Academic), acting for the Registrar. All newly admitted students are expected to follow the instruction as given. Skipping steps or waiting too long may cause problems that are hard to fix later.
