LAUTECH 2025/2026 Matriculation Ceremony Schedule: Date, Time, Venue, Gown Collection and Entry Rules

Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, has announced the schedule for the 2025/2026 matriculation ceremony.

The ceremony will mark the formal admission of new students into the university.

Matriculation Ceremony Date, Time and Venue

The university has set the matriculation ceremony as follows:

  • Date: Friday, 16 January 2026
  • Time: 8:00 a.m.
  • Venue: The Great Hall

Assembly and Entry Instructions

All matriculating students are to assemble in front of The Great Hall by 8:00 a.m. Faculty Officers will lead students into the hall at 8:30 a.m.

Students who arrive late will not be allowed into the venue; this instruction is stated as part of the event arrangement.

Academic Gown Collection

LAUTECH has also provided dates for academic gown collection:

  • Dates: Wednesday, 14 January 2026 and Thursday, 15 January 2026
  • Activity: collection of gowns at various faculties
  • Venue: faculties (Faculty Offices)

New students are to collect academic gowns from their Faculty Offices on the scheduled dates. The notice states that late collection may cause delays on the day of the ceremony (students are expected to plan around the collection window).

Dress Code and Conduct
