The programme is a leadership and development initiative for post-housemanship doctors moving into full professional practice. NHEF says the programme offers a curated and immersive learning experience for early-career medical professionals; it is built to give participants the knowledge, perspective, and networks needed for work in Nigeria’s healthcare sector.

The programme is open only to graduate medical doctors from NHEF partner universities:

  • Ahmadu Bello University
  • Bayero University

Applicants must have completed housemanship.

Completion of NYSC is not mandatory. Doctors who have completed NYSC, those currently serving, and those yet to begin NYSC are all eligible to apply.
