SAZU Adjusted Academic Calendar 2025/2026
Sa’adu Zungur University (SAZU) in Bauchi State has released an adjusted calendar for the 2025/2026 academic session. According to the Office of the Registrar (Academic Affairs Division), the schedule covers both the first and second semesters, outlining resumption dates, breaks, public holidays, and examination periods.

First Semester Schedule
- Resumption and Registration: Monday 5 January to Sunday 18 January 2026 (2 weeks)
- Late Registration: Monday 19 January to Friday 23 January 2026 (5 days)
- Lectures: Monday 5 January to Friday 27 March 2026 (12 weeks)
- Matriculation and Orientation: Wednesday 28 January 2026 (1 day)
- Ed-el-Fitr Celebration: Thursday 19 March to Friday 20 March 2026 (2 days)
- Revision Week: Monday 30 March to Friday 3 April 2026 (1 week)
- Good Friday/Easter Monday: Friday 3 April to Monday 6 April 2026 (2 days)
- First Semester Examination: Tuesday 7 April to Saturday 25 April 2026 (3 weeks)
- First Semester Break: Monday 27 April to Saturday 30 May 2026 (5 weeks)
- Ed-el-Kabir Celebration: Wednesday 27 to Thursday 28 May 2026 (2 days)
- Release of Results: Friday 26 June 2026
Second Semester Schedule
- Resumption and Registration: Monday 1 June to Saturday 6 June 2026 (1 week)
- Lectures: Monday 1 June to Saturday 22 August 2026 (12 weeks)
- Democracy Day Celebration: Friday 12 June 2026 (1 day)
- GST Examination: Monday 24 August to Friday 28 August 2026 (1 week)
- Second Semester Examination: Monday 31 August to Saturday 12 September 2026 (2 weeks)
- Second Semester Break: Monday 14 September to Saturday 5 December 2026 (12 weeks)
- Independence Day Celebration: Thursday 1 October 2026 (1 day)
- Release of Results: Friday 18 December 2026
