Gombe State University, GSU, has released notice on the matriculation and orientation ceremony for 2025/2026 100 Level students.

The ceremony will cover fresh Regular and Part-Time undergraduate students. The University has fixed the event for Monday, 30 March 2026, at Convocation Square; the programme will begin at 9:00 AM.

The 2025/2026 Combined Matriculation and Orientation Ceremony will hold as follows:

Lecture-free hours for the ceremony

The Vice-Chancellor has approved lecture-free hours on the day of the ceremony.

Attendance rule for fresh students

All fresh students must attend the matriculation and orientation ceremony.

That instruction covers new Regular and Part-Time undergraduate students for the 2025/2026 session.

Matriculation gown fee and collection

Fresh students are to obtain their matriculation gowns from the Deanery after payment of N2,000. The fee is non-refundable.

Gown distribution will start on Monday, 30 March 2026. Collection will follow first come, first served, and the gowns are limited in number.
