NWU Kano IJMB Admission Form for 2026/2027 Academic Session

Northwest University, Kano, through its Institute of Continuing Education, has opened sales of application forms for its one-year IJMB programme for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The form became available on 4 May 2026. Sales will close on 26 July 2026.

Candidates who pass the IJMB examination can use the result to seek Direct Entry admission into Level 200 at universities across Nigeria. For candidates who meet the required conditions, the Institute of Continuing Education also helps with admission into Northwest University, Kano.

Who Can Apply for NWU Kano IJMB Admission?

Applicants need at least five O’level credit passes.

The credits must include Mathematics or English, and the result may come from NECO, WAEC, NABTEB or MBAIS; candidates should check their subjects well before starting the online form, because the course choice often depends on the subjects already passed.

The IJMB programme covers subject groups for science, humanities, social science and management-related courses.

Sciences

Candidates under the science group may choose from the following subjects:

How to Apply for NWU Kano IJMB Admission Form

Applicants should begin from the Northwest University website and click the IJMB link, or go straight to the NWU IJMB application portal.

After opening the portal, the applicant should click “Applicant” and enter a valid email address. Anyone without an email address should create one before starting, since the portal sends a verification code there.

The applicant should log in to the email account, copy the verification code, return to the portal, enter the code and click “Continue”.

Next, the applicant should print the payment invoice.

Payment can be made at any bank or through the Nabroll gateway; after payment, the applicant should return to the portal for payment verification.

The final step is to click “Login” and use the application number and email address to complete the process.
