Oduduwa University Gets Full NUC Accreditation for 10 Programmes

Oduduwa University has received full accreditation from the National Universities Commission for 10 academic programmes after the October/November 2025 evaluation.

The result gives students, parents and the wider university community a clear update on the approved courses. It also confirms that the affected programmes met the NUC’s checks on curriculum, staffing, facilities and research output.

Oduduwa University NUC Accreditation Covers 10 Programmes

The full accreditation covers programmes across administration, health sciences, media studies, environmental studies, science and social sciences.

For many students, the names that will draw quick attention are Mass Communication, Nursing Science and Public Administration; those three sit among the approved programmes listed after the NUC review.

The programmes that received full NUC accreditation are:

Vice Chancellor Reacts to the Accreditation Result

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. C. I. N. Uche, said the outcome reflects Oduduwa University’s commitment to producing graduates who can meet national and global standards.

“Accreditation ensures our programmes remain relevant and competitive,” he stated.

Prof. Uche also thanked the University Financials for providing resources for the exercise, and he praised staff members for the roles they played during the successful review.
