Professor Usman said giving credit where it is due forms part of academic integrity. He added that school-wide gains often come from collective and continuous effort.

What comes next for PAAU

The Vice-Chancellor said the university’s leadership will build on the current accreditation status, improve areas with interim status, and sustain standards in teaching, research, and community service.

He also recalled that a similar result was recorded during his time as Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, where several programmes secured full accreditation.

For PAAU, the message is clear; the 2025 NUC exercise brought full accreditation across a broad range of programmes, with one course placed on interim status.
