Pan-Atlantic University, Nigeria has invited suitably qualified candidates to apply for its Post UTME screening exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The application covers UTME candidates who chose Pan-Atlantic University as first choice and those who did not choose the university but wish to study there. Direct Entry applicants can also apply, provided they meet the listed course requirements.
Who Can Apply for PAU Post UTME
Pan-Atlantic University accepts applications from candidates who meet the admission conditions for the 2026/2027 session.
Applicants must have scored 220 or above in the 2026/2027 UTME examination; they must also have the required O’Level credits and meet the age rule for the session.
Candidates can apply if they fall under any of these groups:
- Candidates who chose Pan-Atlantic University as first choice
- Candidates who did not choose PAU but want to study there
- Applicants who will be 16 years old by October 2026
- Candidates with a JAMB score of 220 and above
PAU UTME Entry Requirements
UTME applicants need a minimum JAMB score of 220 from the 2026 examination.
They also need five O’Level credit passes, including Mathematics and English Language. Since Pan-Atlantic University academic sessions currently begin in October, each candidate must be at least 16 years old within that month.
PAU Courses and UTME Subject Combination
Candidates should check the subject combination for their chosen course before applying; a wrong combination may affect admission.
School of Management and Social Sciences
Courses under the School of Management and Social Sciences are:
- Accounting
- Business Administration
- Economics
- Finance
Required UTME subjects are English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and Financial Accounting or Commerce. PAU may also accept another Arts or Social Science subject where allowed.
School of Media and Communication
The School of Media and Communication offers Mass Communication.
For Mass Communication, candidates need English Language and any three subjects from Arts or Social Science.
The school also offers Information Science and Media Studies.
For Information Science and Media Studies, candidates need English Language and any three subjects from Sciences, Arts or Social Science. Mathematics gives the applicant an added advantage.
School of Science and Technology
The School of Science and Technology offers Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
For Computer Science, candidates need English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and one of Biology, Chemistry, Geography or Economics.
For Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, candidates need English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
PAU Admission Screening Schedule
Pan-Atlantic University will invite candidates for a screening exercise.
After the evaluation, the university will make an admission decision. Successful candidates will receive an offer letter within two weeks.
Dates for the interviews will be announced.
What Successful Candidates Should Do After Offer
A candidate who receives an admission offer must show acceptance by paying a deposit within two weeks.
The university will send a pre-arrival guide to successful candidates. Accepted candidates should arrive on campus at least one day before registration begins.

PAU Direct Entry Admission Requirements
Pan-Atlantic University also accepts Direct Entry applications into selected programmes.
Students admitted through Direct Entry begin at 200 level, which is the second year, and the course duration is three years.
Direct Entry into School of Management and Social Sciences
Programmes available under this school are:
- B.Sc. Business Administration
- B.Sc. Accounting
- B.Sc. Economics
To qualify, an applicant must have one of the following:
- Two A’Level credits in relevant subjects
- International Baccalaureate Diploma in relevant subjects
- NCE with merit in a relevant discipline
- OND in a relevant discipline
- HND or degree in a relevant discipline
- ICAN-ATS 3 certificate for B.Sc. Accounting applicants only
Direct Entry into School of Media and Communication
Programmes available under this school are:
- B.Sc. Mass Communication
- B.Sc. Information Science and Media Studies
For Mass Communication, applicants need two A’Level credits in Arts or Social Science subjects.
For Information Science and Media Studies, applicants need two A’Level credits in Arts, Social Sciences or Science subjects.
Applicants may also qualify with any of these:
- International Baccalaureate Diploma in relevant subjects
- NCE with merit in a relevant discipline
- OND in a relevant discipline
- HND or degree in a relevant discipline
Direct Entry into School of Science and Technology
For B.Sc. Computer Science, an applicant must meet the O’Level requirements and have two A’Level passes, including Physics and Mathematics.
For B.Eng. Electrical and Electronic Engineering, an applicant must meet the O’Level requirements and have passes in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry at GCE A’Level or its equivalent.
For B.Eng. Mechanical Engineering, an applicant must meet the O’Level requirements and have passes in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry at GCE A’Level or its equivalent.
How to Apply for PAU Direct Entry Form
Direct Entry candidates should buy the current JAMB Direct Entry form before starting the PAU application.
After that, the candidate should visit the PAU application portal, sign up, log in, open the Direct Entry form, fill it and submit it.
Applicants must also pay ₦5,000 for the PAU form, or its equivalent in any currency.
Documents Required for PAU Direct Entry Application
Direct Entry applicants must send hard copies of relevant documents to the admissions office.
The required documents include:
- OND, HND, NCE or degree certificate
- A’Level or diploma result
- Printed copy of the completed JAMB Direct Entry form
- WAEC, GCE, SSCE, IGCSE or NECO result

PAU Admission Offer and Acceptance
After PAU completes its evaluation, the university will make an admission decision.
A successful applicant will receive an offer letter within two weeks. The applicant must then pay a deposit within two weeks to show acceptance.
The university will send a pre-arrival guide to successful candidates, and accepted students should arrive on campus at least one day before registration begins.
Admission will follow a first come, first served order.
