Thomas Adewumi University (TAU) Top-Up Degree and HND Conversion Programme Admission Guide

Thomas Adewumi University, through its Centre for Professional Development, has announced the start of its Top-Up Degree and HND Conversion Programme. The scheme is designed to bridge the gap between Higher National Diploma holders and Bachelor’s degree qualifications.

The programme gives people who already hold an HND in selected fields a route to continue their studies and convert that qualification into a full university degree. It also supports career growth and academic Progress; that is the clear focus of the scheme.

Thomas Adewumi University states that the programme is meant to:

• facilitate conversion from HND to a university degree
• support career flexibility and educational advancement
• promote academic and professional transformation

Who can apply

The application is open to:

• university graduates with Pass or Third Class degrees
• HND holders seeking a Bachelor’s degree
• graduates who want to change career paths

Admission requirements

Applicants must meet these entry conditions:

• a minimum of five O’Level credits, including English Language, in not more than two sittings
• at least a Third Class degree or HND from a recognised institution
• completion of NYSC, or exemption from NYSC

How to apply

Interested applicants are to apply online through the TAU application portal.

Applicants are also required to:

• pay a non-refundable application fee of N10,000
• submit completed forms with credentials for screening at the Centre for Professional Development

Tuition fee and duration

The tuition fee is N150,000 per academic session. The university states that flexible payment options are available.

The duration of the programme is two years. That period covers six semesters, with 15 weeks for each semester.
