UITH School of Orthopaedic Cast Technology Admission 2026/2027

University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital has invited applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the School of Orthopaedic Cast Technology for the 2026/2027 session.

The notice covers the National Diploma and Higher National Diploma routes; the HND programme is listed as full-time.

UITH Orthopaedic Cast Technology ND Requirements

The School lists these minimum entry conditions for the National Diploma programme:

  • Five credit passes in WAEC, SSCE, NECO or GCE O’Level at not more than two sittings
  • NABTEB at one sitting
  • Subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology or Health Science, and two other subjects from Physics, Chemistry, Food and Nutrition or Home Management, Agricultural Science, Geography, or Technical Drawing

Applicants who did not choose the School during the last JAMB are expected to do a change of course and school to School of Orthopaedic Cast Technology, University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital.

Candidates must be 16 years old and above before applying for the programme. The School also states that applicants who will not be 16 years old by 31st September, 2026 will not be considered for admission.

Only candidates who picked School of Orthopaedic Cast Technology, University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital as first choice will be considered.

Applicants must come with the original JAMB result printout or change of school or course slip when coming for the entrance examination or screening.

UITH Orthopaedic Cast Technology HND Requirements

For the Higher National Diploma programme, the School lists these requirements:

  • Five credit passes in WAEC, SSCE, NECO or GCE O’Level at not more than two sittings
  • NABTEB at one sitting
  • Subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology or Health Science, and two other subjects from Physics, Chemistry, Food and Nutrition or Home Management, Agricultural Science, Geography, or Technical Drawing
  • Minimum of Lower Credit in National Diploma in Orthopaedic Cast Technology in any accredited school
  • One-year Industrial Training letter, which is evidence from a recognised hospital
  • JAMB admission letter for the National Diploma in Orthopaedic Cast Technology
  • Letter of sponsorship, where applicable to staff
