UITH Post UTME Form for ND/HND Nursing Admission 2026/2027

University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, UITH, has invited applications for admission into the College of Nursing Sciences OND/HND Nursing programme for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The programme runs for 4 years and is listed as a non-terminal Nursing programme.

UITH ND/HND Nursing Admission Requirements

A candidate who wants to apply must meet the stated entry conditions before filling the form. Some of the rules are tied to JAMB, while others deal with age, conduct and health-related checks.

JAMB requirements

Applicants must have written the 2026 JAMB.

The required JAMB subject combination is:

• English Language
• Biology
• Chemistry
• Physics

Candidates must also score at least 180 in the 2026 JAMB.

First choice requirement

Applicants who did not choose College of Nursing Sciences, UITH, Ilorin as their first choice must visit the nearest JAMB-accredited centre and make the change.

The first choice must read College of Nursing Sciences, UITH, Ilorin.

O’level requirements

Candidates must have at least five credits in the subjects listed below:

• English Language
• Mathematics
• Physics
• Chemistry
• Biology

The credits must be obtained at not more than two sittings.

NABTEB is accepted, but it cannot be combined with any other O’level certificate.

Age and conduct requirements

A candidate must not be less than 16 years old at the time of application.

The applicant must not have a criminal record.

The candidate must not have deformity of the hands.

Documents Needed for UITH ND/HND Nursing Application

Candidates are to upload scanned copies of the required documents on the portal during registration.

They are also to come to the screening centre with hard copies.

Required documents are:

• JAMB result slip
• JAMB change of school slip
• Original O’level certificate
• Birth certificate from National Population Commission
• Printout of application form
• Passport photograph
• Printout of Remita receipt

Small detail, but it matters; the name and records on the documents should match the candidate’s application details.

UITH ND/HND Nursing Application Fee

Applicants are to pay a total of N10,000 through the Remita platform only.

Payment must be made into UITH General Purpose Account.

The fee breakdown is:

• Post UTME fee: N2,000
• Screening/Interview fee: N7,000
• Administration charges: N1,000
• Total: N10,000

Cash payment is not allowed.

Transfer to individual accounts is not allowed either.

How to Pay Through Remita

Candidates should follow the payment process below.

Remita payment steps

Go to the Remita payment portal.

Click Pay FGN and State TSA.

Select FGN Federal Government of Nigeria.

Type University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital under “Who do you want to pay?”

Select UITH General Purpose under Name of Service/Purpose.

Fill all other required details and make payment.

After payment, the applicant can continue the application process.

All payment receipts must be submitted to the Bursary Unit for payment verification.

How to Apply for UITH ND/HND Nursing Post UTME

Applicants should visit the UITH Nursing application page and fill the form.

After payment through Remita, candidates should proceed with online registration by filling the SON form with the Remita Retrieval Reference, RRR, generated after payment.

Online Registration Steps After Payment

Candidates should click Apply Now on the portal.

The page will ask for a valid personal email address.

A confirmation link will be sent to the email used during registration.

The applicant should open that email account in a new tab on the same browser.

The candidate should click the link sent by noreply@uithilorin.

The SPBN application form will then open for filling and submission.

Candidates should select the school they wish to apply for from the drop-down menu.

Upload Rules for Sponsor and Referees

On the sponsor details section, candidates are expected to upload the scanned signature of their sponsor.

The accepted formats are jpeg, png or jpg.

Each candidate must also upload three typed and scanned referees’ letters, with the referees’ letter-headed paper, in jpeg, png or jpg format.

After filling all required fields, the candidate should submit the form.

After submission, the page should redirect within 2 seconds for printing or downloading of the filled form.

If the printout does not show, the form was not submitted well, and the candidate will need to refill the form.

Screening and Interview Details

The entrance examination and interview date will be communicated.

Venue: ICT Centre, Schools’ Complex.

Candidates are to dress corporately for the screening and interview.

The school also states that dates are subject to change by management.
