UNINIGER Post UTME Form for 2026/2027 Undergraduate Admission

The University on the Niger, Anambra State, has announced that admission application for its various faculties will start on 9 May 2026.

The university runs from its permanent site at Km 13 Onitsha-Enugu Expressway, Umunya, Anambra State, while its Iyienu Campus sits at the University on the Niger Teaching Hospital, Iyienu Ogidi, Anambra State. UNINIGER has approval from the National Universities Commission, and its courses have accreditation from various professional bodies in Nigeria.

Who Can Apply for UNINIGER Post UTME

Candidates seeking admission into any programme at the University on the Niger must have at least five O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects.

English Language and Mathematics must be part of the five credits. Candidates must also change their chosen school or course to the University on the Niger on the JAMB portal.

During registration, applicants should use an email address and GSM number they can access with ease; the university will use those details for quick communication.

Warning on False Information

Candidates should enter correct details during the screening and admission exercise.

The university has stated that any candidate found with false information at any stage will lose the application.

UNINIGER Post UTME Fee

Eligible candidates must pay a processing fee of ₦2,000 only.

Payment takes place online through the university portal, with Paystack used to complete the payment process.

How to Register for UNINIGER Post UTME

Candidates should follow the application steps below.

  1. Visit the UNINIGER applicant registration portal, complete the mini-form, then click “Pay” to pay the ₦2,000 application fee.
  2. Complete the payment through the Paystack Payment Gateway after the portal redirects the applicant.
  3. Candidates may also visit the University on the Niger website, open the Admission dropdown list, then click “Apply Now”.
  4. After payment, visit the UNINIGER applicant portal and click “Applicant Information” to complete the form.
  5. Upload the required passport photograph, O’Level result and JAMB result.
  6. Applicants may also return to the University on the Niger website, click “Admission”, then click “Continue Application” under the Admission dropdown list.
  7. Candidates should submit the application form and keep checking their admission status with the payment email and JAMB registration number.

The email used during registration must be valid and active, as further information will be sent through it. The candidate’s JAMB number will serve as the password.

UNINIGER Screening Mode for 2026/2027

The University on the Niger will screen candidates for the 2026/2027 academic session through assessment of JAMB UTME results and verified O’Level results.

All candidates should make sure their O’Level results are uploaded on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System, CAPS.

UNINIGER Hostel Notice

All students will reside in the school hostels.
