UNIPORT Direct Entry Screening Form 2026/2027

The University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) has opened Direct Entry admission screening for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Candidates who chose UNIPORT for Direct Entry admission should complete the online screening form and provide details of their qualifying examinations, results, and JAMB Registration Number.

UNIPORT Direct Entry Screening Registration Date

Online registration starts on Friday, 15 May 2026.

The exercise closes on Friday, 19 June 2026; the application link will go off at midnight on that closing date.

Details Candidates Must Provide

Candidates must fill the online form with correct information.

The form requires details of qualifying examinations for Direct Entry admission, including O’Level and A’Level, Diploma, NCE, JUPEB, IJMB, or Degree results.

Applicants must also show pass level and points where applicable.

Their JAMB Registration Number is also required.

UNIPORT Direct Entry Screening Fee

The screening fee is ₦2,000.

Candidates can pay online after generating a Remita code or print the payment slip and pay at any bank that supports Remita.

How to Apply for UNIPORT Direct Entry Screening

Candidates should apply through the UNIPORT screening portal.

Applicants should follow the steps below:

1. Visit the UNIPORT portal and follow the registration guide.
2. Enter the JAMB Registration Number and confirm the pre-loaded JAMB details.
3. Generate a Remita code for online payment or print the payment slip for bank payment.
4. Pay ₦2,000 through Remita.
5. Collect a Remita receipt showing an access code, if payment is made at the bank.
6. Return to the portal and log in with the JAMB Registration Number.
7. Confirm payment on the portal.
8. Complete the online form as requested.
9. Submit the required documents to the Admissions Office or send them by courier.

Candidates should complete each step with their own details.

Documents for Submission

After completing the online form, candidates should submit photocopies of the required documents to the Admissions Office.

The documents include:

• JAMB slip
• Birth certificate or age declaration
• O’Level results, such as WASSCE, GCE, NECO, or NABTEB
• A’Level, Diploma, NCE, JUPEB, IJMB, or Degree results
• Result details showing CGPA where applicable

Candidates who cannot submit the documents in person can send them by courier to:

Rules Candidates Must Follow

UNIPORT will not accept inconsistency in names.

Names on O’Level results, A’Level results, JAMB result slips, and other registration documents must be the same; any mismatch may lead to disqualification.

Candidates must be at least 16 years old by September 2026.

They must also register within the stated period, since the application link will close at midnight on Friday, 19 June 2026.

Phone Number, Email, and JAMB CAPS Notice

Candidates must register with their own valid GSM number and email address.

The screening registration is online, so candidates do not need to be on the university campus to complete the form.

Candidates must upload the needed results to the JAMB website through CAPS as soon as possible.

UNIPORT stated that candidates who fail to upload their results to JAMB CAPS will not be considered for admission.
