YSU Diploma Admission Form 2025/2026: Application Guide

The Directorate of Consultancy Services, Yobe State University, Damaturu, has opened applications for admission into its diploma programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The sale of forms started on 10 April 2026 and will close on 30 June 2026. Applicants who want a place in any of the listed programmes can apply within this period; late moves would miss the window.

YSU diploma form sale dates

The application form is available from 10 April 2026 to 30 June 2026.

That period covers all listed diploma programmes under Arts, Education, Law, Sciences, and Social and Management Science.

YSU listed the following diploma programmes for the 2025/2026 session.

Arts

• Arabic and Islamic Studies – 2 Years

Education

• Education Arts – 2 Years
• Education Sciences – 2 Years
• Library and Information Science – 2 Years
• School Inspection and Supervision – 1 Year

Law

• Civil Law – 2 Years
• Shariah Law – 2 Years

Sciences

• Electronics and Wireless Communication – 1 Year
• Information and Communication Technology – 1 Year
• Renewable Energy Technologies – 1 Year
• Computer Science – 1 Year
• Natural Resources Management – 2 Years
• Public Health – 2 Years
• Environmental Chemistry – 2 Years

Social and Management Science

• Procurement and Logistic Management – 1 Year
• Mass Communication – 2 Years
• Crime Management Prevention and Control – 2 Years
• Accounting and Taxation – 2 Years
• Public and Local Government Administration – 2 Years
• Social Policy and Administration – 2 Years

Entry requirements for YSU diploma programmes

Applicants must have credit passes in three relevant O’Level subjects from WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, NABIS, or another cognate examination body.

YSU also accepts results from more than two sittings. At least two of the credit passes must match the course the applicant wants to study.

How to apply for the YSU diploma admission form

Applicants can complete the process through the YSU diploma application portal.

Application steps

1. Click “Create Account”.
2. Generate a payment code.
3. Pay through any available payment channel.
4. Make a non-refundable payment of N3,100 only.
5. Log in with a phone number and PIN code.
6. Fill in the required details.
7. Print the acknowledgement slip.
