Are you a student from Delta State?

The Delta State Government is giving money called a bursary to students from Delta State.

The name of this programme is Students Special Assistance Scheme (SSAS).

This is for students studying in university, polytechnic, monotechnic, and colleges.

Rules to Follow Before You Apply

Make sure you can apply by checking these rules first.

  • You must come from Delta State.
  • You must have a National Identification Number (NIN).
  • You must study full-time in a school approved by the government (no part-time students).
  • Students doing PGD, master’s, or PhD studies cannot apply.
  • Your CGPA score from last year must be at least 2.20.
  • You must be in year 2 or higher at university, polytechnic (ND II, HND II), or college (NCE II-III).
  • You must have a bank account with a bank approved by the Central Bank of Nigeria.

Steps to Fill the Bursary Form

Follow these steps to apply online:

  • Visit the Delta State Bursary Application Form website.
  • Click the button called “APPLY NOW”.
  • Fill the online form carefully.
  • Pay ₦800 online using your debit card to finish sending the form.
  • After paying, print out your online acknowledgement card and keep it safe.

Important Dates to Remember

You have only four weeks to apply for this bursary.

Start applying from Tuesday, 15 April 2025.

The form closes on Wednesday, 14 May 2025.

After this date, physical checking of documents will take place.
