ABU Invigilation Application and Scheduling Portal for DLC Staff
Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) has introduced a new Invigilation Application and Scheduling Portal for its Distance Learning Centre. The portal supports staff who take part in exam supervision and is set for full use before the January 2026 exam period. The update was shared in a special bulletin issued on Tuesday, 2 December 2025. The aim is to make the process clearer for staff and help with planning exam duties across the centre.
How the new portal works
The platform gives staff a simple way to enter their details and submit an entry for invigilation duty. It brings the steps into one online space so staff can manage their exam roles with ease. The university also noted that the portal remains open until Monday, 8 December 2025.

After the closing date, the system will stop accepting entries. Staff who are picked for duty will later receive email updates with posting details and further steps.
The new process helps staff prepare ahead of exam periods. It keeps all entries in one place so the centre can plan and share exam duty schedules on time. This supports a smooth running of each exam day.
