ADUN 2025/2026 Resumption Schedule and Student Guidelines
The Vice Chancellor of Admiralty University of Nigeria (ADUN), Professor Christopher Ndubisi Ogbogbo, welcomes both new and returning students to the 2025/2026 academic session. He congratulates the newly admitted students and assures everyone that ADUN is ready for a smooth and well-organised resumption.
To manage the start of the session effectively, the university management, through the Student Welfare Board, has introduced a phased resumption schedule and clear accommodation guidelines to ease current on-campus housing challenges.
Academic Calendar and Resumption Plan
Following Senate approval, ADUN has released the official timetable for resumption and registration.
New Students (100-Level): Resume on Sunday, 26 October 2025, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Registration and orientation start on Monday, 27 October 2025.
Returning Students: Resume on Sunday, 2 November 2025, with registration beginning on Monday, 3 November 2025.
First Semester Lectures: Begin for all students on Monday, 3 November 2025.
This clear schedule helps every student settle in quickly and ensures classes begin without delay.
Hostel Accommodation Guidelines at ADUN
Due to limited hostel capacity, accommodation will be provided in stages. On 26 October 2025, only the following groups will be admitted into the hostels:
- All 100-Level Students (Freshers)
- All 400-Level Students, excluding those in Law
Students in 200-Level, 300-Level, and 400-Level Law must arrange off-campus accommodation. Parents and guardians are encouraged to secure housing ahead of time. Hostel staff have been directed to enforce these rules strictly.
Conduct and Campus Regulations
ADUN expects all students to maintain proper conduct in and out of the hostels. Important rules include:
- Financial Clearance: Hostel rooms are issued only after students present a clearance form from the Bursary Unit confirming that all fees have been paid.
- Safety: Each student is responsible for the security of personal belongings.
- Prohibited Items: Heating devices (unless for approved medical use), sex toys, illicit substances, and certain food items such as noodles, spaghetti, and custard are banned. Students are encouraged to eat at the University Cafeteria.
- Dress Code: Torn jeans, low-waist trousers, revealing tops, and dreadlocks are not allowed.
- Security and Conduct: Fighting, vandalism, or joining unauthorised anonymous social media groups are forbidden. Students leaving campus must carry a movement pass.
Required Documents for New Students
Students who have not completed their admission process must submit six photocopies each of the following:
- ADUN Admission Letter
- JAMB Admission Letter or Result Slip
- Evidence of Fee Payment
- O’Level Results
- State of Origin and Birth Certificate (or Affidavit of Age)
- Sponsorship Letter (if applicable)
- Medical Fitness Certificate from a government hospital

- Evidence of Post-UTME Registration Fee Payment
Welcoming Support for All Students
The Student Welfare Board, chaired by Professor Bernard Onyekweli Ejechi, is ensuring a supportive environment through orientation programmes and guided campus tours. These activities help students adjust to university life with ease.
