ACEONDO 35th Convocation Ceremony Programme of Events

Adeyemi Federal University of Education (AFUED), Ondo, has formally announced its 35th Convocation Ceremony. The event will celebrate academic achievements across six academic sessions and honour distinguished personalities with honorary doctorate degrees.

The university has outlined a five-day programme packed with activities that reflect the academic, cultural, and communal spirit of the institution.

• Alumni Inter-Faculty Debate

Day 2: Tuesday, 20 May 2025

• Alumni Football Match
  • Venue: Prof. Ayotunde Yoloye Sports Centre
  • Time: 3:00pm

Day 3: Wednesday, 21 May 2025

• Founder’s Day Lecture

• Convocation Lecture

Important Information for AFUED Graduands

Academic Outfits and Clearance

• Academic gowns will be available from Thursday, 15 May 2025, between 10:00am and 4:00pm at each Faculty.
• Gowns must be returned by Wednesday, 28 May 2025. Late returns will attract a daily fine of ₦1,000.
• Each graduand is entitled to two invitation cards, which will be issued upon presenting proof of payment.

Ceremony Protocol

• Graduands must report to their Faculty areas by 8:30am on the convocation day.
• First Degree recipients will move their tassels from right to left when formally admitted.
• All attendees are expected to stand for the academic procession, national anthem, and university anthem.
• Movement in and out of the convocation venue during the ceremony is prohibited.
