This is to inform the general public that the online application and screening for admission into the Aminu Saleh College of Education, Azare (ASCOEA) Undergraduate Programme, affiliated with the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID), is still ongoing.
Interested candidates are advised to carefully follow the instructions provided below to complete their application.
Please note that the deadline for the undergraduate application and screening is 30th October, 2025.
The Aminu Saleh College of Education, Azare, has opened its doors once again — this time in partnership with the University of Maiduguri. Together, they’re rolling out thirteen undergraduate courses for the 2025/2026 session. For those looking to blend teaching skills with a solid degree, this is the moment to lean in.

- B.Sc. Ed. Agriculture Education
- B.A. Ed. Arabic Education

Who can apply
For Direct Entry:
- At least 8 points in NCE/IJMB.
- A Merit in Diploma.
For 100 Level:
- Minimum UTME score of 150.
- Five ‘O’ Level credits including English, Mathematics, and three relevant subjects.
All candidates must meet the subject requirements for their chosen course.
How to apply
- Pay the non-refundable screening fee of N2,000.
- Bring both original and photocopies of credentials.
- For 100 Level: JAMB result slip.
- For Direct Entry: JAMB registration slip.
- Upload your ‘O’ Level results on the JAMB portal.
- If switching schools or courses, use the JAMB change portal and set the College as your first choice.
- Choose between physical or online screening via the ASCOEA Applicant Portal.
The online portal opens Monday, 18 August 2025.
