WAEC’s own people confirmed this online release. So, no need to ask “Are you sure?” every two seconds.

What You Need Before Checking

Before you rush to the portal like you’re chasing Jollof at a wedding, pause. You’ll need:

  • Your Exam Number – That’s your centre number plus your seat number. Should be 10 digits.
  • PIN and Serial Number – These are on that Smart ID card you used during the exam. You remember the one with your photo looking like you just fought with your sleep?

No PIN? Wahala no dey. You can buy one straight from WAEC.

How To Buy A New Result Checker PIN

Here’s how to get that PIN if yours has gone on vacation:

  1. Visit WAEC’s Request Portal
  2. Don’t bother looking for a Transaction Ref Number. It will pop up by itself.
  3. Under “Request Type”, pick Request For Service
  4. Then select Sale of WAEC Direct Result Checker
  5. Type your name, phone number and email
  6. Click Proceed to Online Payment
  7. Pay ₦4,250 and get your fresh PIN

That’s it. No long story.

Checking Your WAEC Result Online

Now that you’ve armed yourself with all the weapons, go to WAEC Result Portal. Then:

  • Put your exam number (centre + candidate number)
  • Pick 2025 as the year
  • Select SCHOOL CANDIDATE RESULT
  • Enter your PIN and Serial Number
  • Click Submit

Wait a bit. Don’t click like your mouse owes you money. Your result will show up.

Want To Use SMS Instead?

Maybe your internet is playing hide-and-seek. Or you just prefer the old-fashioned route. You can use SMS, but it’s only for MTN, Airtel, and Glo folks. Sorry, 9mobile squad.

Here’s the format:

WAEC*ExamNumber*PIN*ExamYear

Send to 32327

It costs ₦30. That’s like one puff puff, but okay.

Example:
If your exam number is 4250101001, your PIN is 123456789012, and you sat for the exam in 2025, your text should look like:

WAEC*4250101001*123456789012*2025

Send it and wait. Your result will land in your inbox.

Stuck? Something Not Working?

If you tried all that and your result still refuses to show, don’t panic. Instead of shouting at your screen, send an email to:

waecsupport@fleettechltd.com

Make sure you include:

  • What the error message said (copy it exactly)
  • Your exam number
  • Exam year
  • Type of exam (School Candidate)

Just explain it like you’re telling your cousin. They’ll get back to you.

About That WAEC Certificate…

Now, if your result looks clean and you didn’t have any wahala during the exam (no malpractice, no withheld result), then congrats. You can apply for your digital certificate.

You can get it from WAEC’s Digital Certificate Platform

They said physical certificates will come after 90 days. That’s like three months of no shaking. For now, that digital one go work fine.
