The College of Education and Legal Studies in Nguru, Yobe State, has announced the sale of Post UTME forms for its NCE programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session. This news brings both relief and urgency, as many candidates have been waiting for the official word. Now the ball is in the applicants’ court.

Admission Requirements

To stand a chance, applicants need to meet certain conditions:

  • A minimum of five credits in relevant subjects, including English and Mathematics.
  • At least 100 points from the JAMB UTME.

Without these, the gate is closed before it even opens.

How to Apply for COELS Nguru Post UTME

The school has set up an online platform to make the process smoother. Here’s the path to follow:

  • Go to the COELS application portal.
  • Create an account by entering your full name, phone number, email, and programme of choice.
  • Click proceed, and an RRR code will be generated.
  • Use the code to pay the required amount at any commercial bank.
  • Return to the portal, enter your phone number and RRR code, then provide the requested information.
  • Print your acknowledgment slip for record keeping.

After this step, candidates must also log on to the JAMB portal, select the College of Education and Legal Studies as their first choice, and apply formally.

For those who cannot access the internet, the admission form is available at the college admission office.

The college is offering a wide range of NCE programmes, combining fields across arts, sciences, and social studies. Some options include:
