By  Updated on

Kano State College of Nursing has opened applications for its 2025 HND Post-Basic Nursing course. Open to registered midwives with key O’Level subjects, application closes 29 August.

Kano College of Nursing HND (Post-Basic) Form Is Out for 2025

If you’re a registered midwife and itching to take the next step in your nursing path, here’s your shot. The Kano State College of Nursing Sciences is now selling forms for its HND (Post-Basic) Nursing Programme for the 2025/2026 session.

They’re admitting across four locations—Kano, Madobi, Dambatta and Gwarzo. Not a bad spread, if you ask me.

Who Can Apply?

Let’s not waste time. The college wants only practising Registered Midwives. That’s non-negotiable. Your current practising licence must be valid. No expired papers.

On top of that, they’re asking for five credits in your WAEC or NECO:

  • English
  • Mathematics
  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Biology

And yeah, not more than two sittings. If your documents are scattered, this might not be your year. Just saying.

Dates You Should Care About

  • Application opens: Friday, 1st August 2025
  • Application ends: Friday, 29th August 2025

The exam follows not long after:

  • Kano Campus: Saturday, 13th September
  • Madobi Campus: Sunday, 14th September

It’s a 2-year study ride. That’s not forever, but it’s enough to sharpen your skills and deepen your career options.

Applying Without Stress

Here’s how to do it right:

  1. Go to conskano.edu.ng/portal
  2. Hit Apply
  3. Just follow what the page tells you

Only make payments through REMITA using the official school site. No, that guy who “knows someone” isn’t your helper. Fraud is real, and the school’s been clear about it.
