By  Updated on

Federal College of Education (Special), Oyo, has opened its 2025/2026 Post-UTME form for NCE admission. This piece walks you through who can apply, what you need, and how to register before the deadline. Read on so you don't miss anything.

FCE (Special) Oyo Post-UTME 2025: Your Simple Guide to Apply

Let’s be honest, Post-UTME season brings mixed feelings. Some folks are ready, others are still unsure where they even want to apply. If you’re looking for a place that welcomes everyone, including students with special needs, then the Federal College of Education (Special), Oyo, might be worth a closer look.

And now, the College has opened its 2025/2026 Post-UTME screening. If you’re eyeing an NCE programme and scored at least 100 in your UTME, this could be your next step.

Wait, What Makes This College Special?

Well, for starters, it’s not your regular college. It was set up in 1977 and it remains the only college of special education in all of Sub-Saharan West Africa. Not exaggerating. That alone says a lot.

The place trains teachers and support staff for students with special needs. So yes, you’ll likely see more diversity here than you would at most other schools. People come from all over Nigeria, and the vibe? Let’s just say it’s not your everyday crowd.

What Are They Offering?

Just one programme for now:

  • Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE)

It’s their bread and butter.

Can You Apply?

You can, if you tick these boxes:

  • You made FCE (Special) Oyo your first choice in UTME and scored 100 or above.
  • Or, you didn’t choose them before but you’re ready to make the switch — as long as you scored 100 or above and do a change of institution.
  • You must be at least 16 years old by 30th September 2025.

Pretty open, right?

How to Apply (Without Confusing Yourself)

The form costs N2,000, not refundable. Here’s how you go about it:

  1. Go to FCE Special Oyo NCE Portal
  2. Pay through Remita either online or at any commercial bank
  3. Fill the form with care — don’t rush
  4. Upload:
    • Your O’level results (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB)
    • Passport photo (white background, no glasses or veil, less than 100kb)
  5. Print out the filled form

That printout? Don’t misplace it.

What Do You Bring for the Screening?

The actual screening happens on Thursday, 25th September 2025, and it’s physical. Come early.

You’ll need:

Also, upload your SSCE or equivalent to your JAMB profile. Any CBT centre can do that for you.

When Is the Form Closing?

  • Deadline: Wednesday, 24th September 2025
  • Time: 4:00 pm sharp

If you’re the last-minute type, this is not the form to delay.

Screening Time and Venue

  • Time: 9:00 am
  • Venue: Check your printed application form. It’ll tell you where to go.

So if you show up and claim you didn’t know your venue, no one will listen.

Any Questions?

You can call the admissions unit on:

📞 08035284170
📞 07037568846

They won’t ignore you. Hopefully.

One More Thing…

After admission is offered, you’ve got just three weeks to accept it. Delay and you’ll be tagged as “refused to accept” and that’s not a good thing. It means no admission for you that year. Don’t play yourself.

So, if you’re serious about getting into teaching, or you have a heart for special education, or you just want to study somewhere unique, FCE (Special) Oyo might be your spot.

Fill the form. Show up on time. And try not to forget your documents. Na that one dey scatter plans sometimes.
