The Federal University of Technology, Ikot Abasi (FUTIA), Akwa Ibom State, invites all newly admitted students of the 2025/2026 academic session to its 3rd Orientation Programme. This event marks a key moment for fresh students to learn about life at FUTIA and the opportunities that await them within the university community.

The Students’ Affairs Division, on behalf of the Management, has planned a two-day orientation aimed at helping new students settle in with ease. The event provides guidance on academic expectations, social conduct, and student support services available at FUTIA.

Orientation Schedule

Date: Wednesday 12 and Thursday 13 November 2025
Time: 9:00 a.m. daily
Venue: FUTIA Pavilion

Students are encouraged to attend both days to benefit fully from the interactive sessions and talks by university officials and guest speakers.

What Students Can Expect

During the programme, participants will be introduced to the university’s academic structure, code of conduct, and welfare services. They will also meet faculty members, administrative staff, and representatives from key departments.
