LASU Work-Study Scheme 2025 Application Guide
The Work-Study Scheme is open for applications from interested undergraduate students of Lagos State University (LASU). This round focuses on student participation in the Open Educational Resources (OER) Portal Project, which aims to improve access to academic materials through digitisation and structured online storage.
The programme offers students a chance to gain digital work experience while contributing directly to LASU’s academic development.
About the LASU Work-Study Scheme
The LASU Work-Study Scheme provides part-time work opportunities for students within the university. For this phase, participants will support the Open Educational Resources Portal Project, which involves converting and uploading academic theses and research materials into an organised digital format.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for this year’s LASU Work-Study Scheme, applicants must:
- Be a current undergraduate student in 300 Level or above.
- Maintain a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.0 or higher.
- Demonstrate skill in:
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel
- Internet use and general digital literacy
Programme Details
- Location: LASU Postgraduate School
- Duration: Two weeks
- Dates: 3rd November – 15th November 2025
- Workload: 2–3 hours daily (flexible schedule)
Participants will gain hands-on experience with digital academic tools while contributing to the university’s resource development efforts.
Remuneration
All selected students will receive a stipend after successfully completing the project. This payment recognises their contribution to improving access to academic resources across LASU.
